I have the same problem on my 6955. the timestamp on the text msgs Received is 4 hours behind. but all msgs sent and emails have correct timestamp on them.
The messages I receive have a timestamp of the device which sent the message, and that device could be in another time zone...or something like that.
My wife was in the US with a Saudi Arabian SIM card and the SMSs I got from her had our local time in Saudi. Once she switched to a Tmobile card in the US, I started getting messages with US time. I didn't like it because I had to convert the time to figure out when the messages were received.

I was telling a noob on this thread how to fix the problem.
The issue is that although the time on the unit is the right one, the time zone is different. So when you sync there will be a difference. Just go under settings to the Time options and make sure the time zone is the right one.

I was having the same problem. I knew I did the DST run around and updates, I had checked the 'date and time' and the 'zoning' info and found that both were set correctly. I called rogers and was told that it was an issue with HP and HP was working on it, I will be calling HP tomorrow, if you want to know what they said PM tomorrow afternoon.
