MPT,MSU not recognising my V3i

Hi I am Arvind. My V3i done me great. It worked with Motorola Phone tools and Motorola Software Update. I updated my phone even one time. But when
the next update came and when i was updating my computer got hanged. Then i restarted my computer and again i run my software update program. And it never recognizes my phone and even Moto Phone Tools not recognize my phone. And even XP not recognize my phone. I have tried Uninstalling and reinstalling both of MPT and MSU and again Tried installing New version But my phone isn't recognized plz help me.
