Changes to contract upon hardware upgrade

My old Samsung a680 screen broke about a month ago and my 3yr contract expires March 2008. However, next week i qualify for a 3yrs-worth rebate for a hardware upgrade (currently using a friend's old bell samsung phone & i'm considering the m610) and i'm wondering if i do a hardware upgrade will my contract be subjected to changes in pricing (ie. 8.95 SAF, corporate plan discounts such as caller ID fee waived, etc)? And if so, will these increases in price only come into affect when my contract will expire in March 2008 or will they increase right away?
Thanks in advance

ps. also if any CS rep can give me any tips on how to go about doing this hardware upgrade to ensure i get the best deal and/or lowest plan price increase it would be greatly appreciated.

well im not a car salesman so i can't give you wheel and deal tips lol but neg when already on a corp deal is not going to be that fruitful from what I remember (could be wrong)

Your contract and terms of it, of course can be subject to change, because your signing a new one, the old one is no longer valid. Also as per the terms of the service agreement, any charges like 911/Saf, and features, can change in price during the course of a contract, your PP rate and OOB rate for airtime, cannot change for the duraction of the contract.

one thing thou, corp discounts tied to the corp rate can change regardless of if your on a contract or not, because its tied to your employment not your commentment, unless its directly related to signing a contract

(E.G: you sign up to get unlimited nights and weekends for the term of your contract, that you keep due to being on the contract for whatever the time period is stipulated based on the promotion and the contract (1 year, or for length of contract) , but call display and message centre are free due to corp deal, at any time the call display and message centre could stop being free based on corp agreement with company, and you would have to decide to keep it or not)

cheers

hey man, i am actually a corporate sales manager for bell and the answer to yuo question is, u can actaully keep your corporate deal. you just have to make sure that the sales associate calls into their SOS and change your contract to a 3yr b4 they process the activation. hope this helps!

Maybe Bell doesn't have great coverage where he lives (or even worse if it was where he worked...). Or maybe he just prefers MAD SEEG.

piottski, I recommend you simply call Customer service. Ask for a deactivation and get a 'deal' to keep your business. With WNP you're in a VERY strong position to get just about anything you want.

Personally I don't care about unlimited local calling and all those "3 months free" stuff. Get stuff that lasts the whole term. Free vmail/call display (if you don't already have it) free evenings/weekends etc. Bell no longer offers "retention" price plans so all they can do is offer you reduced pricing on hardware and features.
