8125 Text Message Inbox Haunts Me

Hi
I have an 8125 on Cingy.. and every so often my text message inbox comes up on screen. if i close it with the X it comes right back up. It gets to the point where I have to completely shut the device off in order for it to stop.
It does this even when i am not receiving a text. When it does this, i cant preform any other function than shutting it down.
I have no D/L's any progs or apps in more than 6 months, and it just started doign this aprox 3 days ago.
Can anyone offer some help or a solution. This is driving me insane.
