My supervisor at work broke her Dash so she's getting a new one from T-Mobile, but she wants something different so she is willing to sell it to me. My question is...

If I unlock it (she can get the unlock code from them since she's a long time subscriber) can I use the phone on my current provider, Sprint?

If I can, will certain things not work, such as IM, email, or any other apps?

I read that IM's are sent as txt's so I can add the extra txt plan for a few extra dollars and I'd be set with that aspect of it all.

it wont work cause tmobile phones are gsm and sprint phones cdma, There is no way its going to work.

sprint and verizon netowrks use CDMA related sigs and t mo and cigul uses sim cards
