I notice once in a while even with the slider open the on screen keyboard will pop up when I am trying to type something in. It will keep doing it until I close the slider for a few seconds then open it back up. That will make it stop 80% of the time. I haven't ever used the on screen keyboard so is there a way to turn it completly off?

don't know how to disable it completely, but if you want to hide it when it shows up, just tap on the keyboard icon on the bottom middle of the screen
