I'm assuming you already have it adjusted to high, in the ringer profile. Right ?

Yes. i have gone thru all the options and turn on high.

I do have to echo Seankamal's concern. In a noisy area, like airports, with the phone inside my pocket or around my hip, I have missed quite a few calls.

Vibrate with the OEM holster does not work for me either. The OEM holster is simple too big and thick, the vibration by the Pearl is not strong enough.

I have been setting my Peal to vibrate mode and placing it inside my shirt pocket to avoid missing calls. Good thing that the Pearl is a good size for the shirt pocket.

try one of the aftermarket battery cases... one i saw on e-bay had a cut-out for the speaker, which is covered by the OEM case.

One easy thing to do is to find a ringer that's loud - or, find a ringer you like and *make* it loud. If you can get a ringer onto your PC (you can't copy the BB ringers off, they have some sort of DRM protection) then you can use a freeware audio editor like Audacity to increase the 'gain' (relative loudnes towards 0, -0.5 is about the max you want to go to prevent clipping), then make a MP3 ringer out of that.

I use the Nokia "Ring Ring.aac" ringer off of my Nokia E50 (since sold) on all my phones, it's crystal clear, sounds professional, and is quite loud enough for me to hear in all but the noisiest places on 'Medium' loundess profile setting.

I would love to share it but I think it's copywritten, you know how it is...

There's one guy over on BBF who used an audio Y cable to 'play' the builtin BB ringer out to his PC (via the microphone jack). You could do that then use Audacity to clean it up and make it real loud. Sound simple enough to do if you have a 2.5mm -> 3.5mm adapter from Seido, etc.
