hey whats up guys, just got my 8525, this is my first smartphone/pda, i was checking out the hacks and tips thread for the phone. some cool stuff on there but its not very newb friendly, a lot of guys have deff been messing with pdas for a while. the phones great, thats all ive really used it as so far. im coming from a k790 which had an awsome camera but was a crappy phone. my question, because im a cheapo, is how can i utilize the wifi to use the internet without having to pay the $40 data plan and where can i get aim for the phone.

If you want to make sure it doesn't go on the internet if the wireless drops somehow, you should call cingular and tell them to disable MediaNet.

cool i used the theme and big button dialer thanks, can someone tell me if theres a way to use internet services without being charged with the wifi

sorry what i meant to ask was what settings should the connections be on to just pic up the strongest and best signal and automatically connect
