I found a 950mah battery for the 3125 on E'bay. Here:

I e'mailed the guy and he said that it will fit the phone, but he did not know weather it you could use the standard battery cover of the original Startrek such as the q-tek with this battery without adding the extra bulk. I am thinking no.

They also have a 850mah battery. I would like to purchase that but would like to get some feedback on it's battery life for use with the 3125. I owned the qtek 8500 but just switched to the 3125. I love the phone, it was and is pretty much the same phone, I like the larger memory but not the bulge of the battery. Although the longer battery life would be nice.

any feedback would be appreciated.

if you get the smaller (standard) battery and standard battery door you will be fine. The 3125s battery and door work with other star treks too.
The battery included with the 3125 is the extended, giving you more life then the standard (included with al other sta treks).

I know. I have owned the qtek and now the 3125. The qtek standard battery is the 750, not the 850mah. The 850mah is after market. The 3125 has the 1100mah and not 950mah. I have not seen or heard anyone with a 950mah battery. It says it is extended, but being that it is smaller than the 1100mah, I was inquiring about if it would fit like the 750mah since the 850mah does fit. Even though it is a after market battery.

I have owned the 750mah and the battery life is poor. The 1100mah is very, very good but I got used to the slightly smaller qtek battery and don't like the extra bulk. I am trying to find something in between that will fit in the standard door and not the extended door. Hence my asking about the 950mah if anyone has heard anyone using it or has used it themselves, or the life of the 850mah since I know it will fit but am unsure of the battery life since I have not used it yet.
