HELP! Main Menu on Cingy V3xx not accessible

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Ok. I'm new to moto-modding and i was wanting to change my V3xx so I could edit my soft keys. I started off with P2k commander 4.9.6, went into a/mobile/system and proceeded to copy my mma_ucp so i could edit it. Once it was copied, I immediately made a second copy from Windows Explorer and put it in a separate backup folder. I opened XVI32 and changed the 2 offsets as stated in the ultimate v3xx modding thread. After that was finished, is where i think i may have messed up. I deleted the old mma_ucp and tried to copy the edited one in. Now, it will not let me add a new mma_ucp into the a/mobile/system folder. I can't even put the original one back into the folder. The only thing showing on my phone now is Personal on the left soft key, and Styles on the right soft key. My middle menu button on the navigation keys doesnt work either, which makes my menu inaccessible for a master reset. i would greatly appreciate it if anyone could help me with this small problem.

Thanks,
Chris

really?

are you sure that maybe you didn't switch from Memcard mode to Data mode?

I also noticed that deleting the original file first seemed to help.

Agreed, Also the file view may not always refresh for the phone but a simple shutdown and restart impliments your changes to the mma.

well, i guess that could be a possibility because i did open MPT to see if i could do anything menu-wise with it, and i switched the modes while i was in MPT...im pretty sure i had it in data mode to begin with, but it's possible i didnt

i closed it and gave up after playing with MPT, and then tried it again about 5 minutes later just for giggles with the flip still closed and it worked so i thought that was it..

Nah, it'll work regardless of the flip position, I promise. Here are some premade mma_ucps for the V3xx:
