Upgrading FW in GD88

If I was to buy a GD88 off of e-bay could i get the latest firmware put on it?... I live in the United States (Mississippi)

You would have to pay for it unless you sent it to the original service providers service center and only if the original service provider is supporting the upgrade. Currently the US service center is not supporting anything other than GU models but will probably change in the near future. Tru can give more info there.
