8525 WM6 upgrade or new rom?

Which do you all think will happen first, if any? I am starting to believe that Cingy will wait for the next generation 8525 with GPS to be released which will have WM6 instead of releasing the new rom or upgrade for the existing 8525.
I would like to get everyone's opinions on this subject (or facts if they are available).

It's working right now with WM6--I do occasionally get data errors saying i need a connection but it still works in reality, just have to hit ok
