Hi, I am a new user of the sidekick 3 and I have a bundle file I would like to upload onto my sidekick 3 but I cannot connect the device through htconsole. when I install the hiptop drivers through add new hardware it does not read on my sidekick 3 yet it does on my broken sidekick 2, is there a way I could set up the sidekick 3 as a hiptop instead of a tmobile sidekick 3 usb device? if not is there another way I could upload a bundle onto this phone.

p.s. I dont know if this has anything to do as to why its not reading it as a hiptop but I dont have a memory card in the phone

No there is no way. You have to re-register as a developer and get the key before you get access to the new system to access and develop for the SK3.

Also no way to change a SK3 to the Hiptop version OS.

yes thats the problem you need a memory card in the phone to upload things on a sk3

He is asking about uploading bundles to an SK3 using HTConsole NOT just the PC/Flash recognition for the SK3 memory card uploading. So NO even with a memory card what he is trying to do will not work.

I did infact get my sidekick 3 to read as a hiptop by rebooting it in recovery rom then hooking it up via usb so its not the memory card even though I need one for loading themes. All I need is a Dev Key now or another way to upload bundles.

If you quality for a developer key you should already know where to look. But if not check out: http://developer.danger.com/

The process is now more complicated as you have to prove that you qualify as a developer and they don't just approve everyone.
