I just got a Rogers 5300 as a prize in a raffle. Why does Rogers screw with how the phones functionality is supposed to perform? It seems like a lot of the features that make this phone cool were removed by Rogers.

Is there any way to get these features back? I don't know the howardforums rules completely but is this really an unlocking/unbranding question?

Crazy thing is that I'm not even with rogers. I called them to see if (like T-Mobile) they would give me a hand in unlocking and guess what? The CSR refered me to Howardforums.
