You could try ebuddy.com/mobile to access yahoo messenger. I use it on my strobe. |

I tried just loading it as the USB cable and not also the wireless modem, but it will not let me do that. Thanks in advance!

As far as I know, Alltell has blocked file transfers via bluetooth adapters, so I'd think you would have to use a USB data cable anyway. When you get your cable, you'll also have to obtain additional software, either EasyCDMA or BitPim. I personally use Bitpim, because it runs much faster than EasyCDMA. After you get the software downloaded and installed, open it, and configure it to use your phone. In BitPim, when it first starts up, it will say "phone not found. Run Settings" click yes to this. Unser the section where it says "COM Port" click "browse" then click on the one that says "USB data cable" then press ok. then press ok in the settings window. Transferring ringtones, and wallpapers is pretty much straightforward in BitPim, with alltell, you should be able to use the sidebar that says "Ringtones", "Phonebook", "Wallpapers". Make sure that your ringtones are resized down to about 30 seconds, or it could possibly damage your phone. On BitPim's sidebar, click ringtones, and add all of your ringtones you want to send. When finished, click "Send to phone". Remember to be patient as Bitpim is sending your ringtones, this could take quite some time, and you should NEVER unplug your phone while BitPim says "Busy" in the bottom left hand corner of the screen, if you do, you could "brick" your phone. Believe me, I've learned this the hard way. When Bitpim says "ready" in the bottom corner, then you can unplug your phone from your computer, and close bitpim. Your ringtones should be on your phone now.
