I have a unlocked Cingular 9300 with T-Mobile, the built in IM doesn't work even after I changed a few settings.

What else is there to use?

I'm going to try IM+. I tried Agile, but had lots of problems.

These are both going to be dependent on having a data plan that has most ports open. You might well need the $30/month data plan.
