HK 1.02X Firmware Using many Japanese features

i've been reading this forum for quite some time and learned lots of tricks in my phone..

After tinkering with it for a while.. I have been able to access some of the sought after japanese firwmare aspects while using HK firmware.

Using my sharp 903.. I now have the Answer Phone feature.. so when someone calls it can answer my calls for me.. and have voicemail in the phone [ Only available in british/english answering ]

I also have full screen wallpaper..

I unfortunately can't get any themes besides the regular japanese one T___T
and.. as people who have used HK firmware and went over to japanese using the power + 8 trick [ country code 21 Japan, 61 Taiwan, 8 Europe and 62 HK ] know you cannot use the main menu.. however.. I have figured out how to keep the ^ ( up ) button/shortcut from turning off the phone.. which allows me to use the shortcut key as a menu of sorts and thus letting me enter settings.. camera.. and every vital function of the phone.. although it is a bit of a hassle ( pressing up instead of the middle menu ) it's definetly been worth it so far.

I've done the power + 8 trick about a million times and it hasn't affected my phone negatively once yet..

The way I got this to work was switching the country code to 21/Japan and then master resetting the phone ( Power + # )

anyways haha just thought i'd share my tinkering with everyone here

Oh sounds great. Were you able to get the water drop theme to show up? I am not sure if it's the regular or special theme.

i was only able to get the sunflower theme

i just checked and i don't think the waterdrop theme is accessable

just the regular sunflower one

the ima trick is tricking your phone into allowing you to set an m4a file [ aac/converted itunes mp3 ] as your ringtone.. instead of getting screwed with mmf or midi ringtones

all has been done before. you WILL one day set the phone a certain way and use the power+# and you will have to get it flashed.

wow! and you are using an unofficial version of hk fw 1.02x?
can you show me how (in details) how to get full screen wallpaper and a different theme on the hacked hk fw?

and what is the original jap theme? the one that looks like a bubble or the square one? or the red and black one?

and if anyone can show me some links that tell me how i can do that, id appreciate it! id really want to learn and i have been using the phone for a long time but i never heard of hacks with the hk fw! thanks guys! =)

LOL no.. there's only one version of 1.02X HK firmware as far as I know

yeah.. I'm home sick today so maybe I'll take some pictures for you

Been searching and can't find an answer... can I use this 'trick' with my Euro FW to get some Japanese features? How do I do it properly?

hmm.. is your euro firmware original..
i've been told if it hasn't been flashed there is no way to do power 8
