Disable lock feature question?

Is it possible to disable the lock feature for the Blackberry 8700c? I can't seem to change the option under settings - security - general.

If by lock setting, you mean disable the timeout and/or holstering, you can check in Options->Screen/Keyboard.

I don't have the option to disable the timeout. For me..under general settings - password: enabled. I can't disable it.

Are you on a corporate BES? If so, you likely have an IT policy in place.

...and if that's the case then you can't change it.

If you're not on BES and/or you purchased the BB used you'll need to remove the IT policy.
