Will the mp3 tone thing damage the 6265i?

will using the mod to set mp3s as ringtones possibly damage the 6265i? and also, if editing a songs length to be a good ringtone, how long should it normally be?

Mp3 ringtones will not damage your phone. Your phone was designed to support mp3 ringtones. Since it has the option for mp3 ringtones, it was tested by Nokia to make it a safe option.

Length of a good ringtone? That depends on how much of the tune you want played before it loops, and how long it takes you to pick up the phone after it rings. Depends on the tune as well. Suit your tastes!

you need a mod to do that? my 6265i is from cricket i just go to the contact and add detail, then select tone and which one I want to use from my memory card!
