I really don't want to read all 1000 pages of the Blackjack tips & hacks thread for this. But, has anybody found an easy way to adjust the contact search mode to where you don't have to hit more than one letter key to display all your "A,B,C, or D" (or any of the rest...) contacts.

I mean, when I used to have a Blackjack, and would hit the "D" key...every contact with a "D" somewhere in their names would come up. It drove me nuts, and was the number-one reason I went with a Treo over the Blackjack, crazy but true.

Now, I am considering buying another BJ as a backup phone...but if this bugaboo can't be fixed easily (I'm a computer idiot), then I'll buy something else.

Anybody help???

In contacts, just hold the d-pad's up or down....it will bring up a large letter in the middle of the screen and you can use the scoll wheel to get to the letter you want
