i have a 8100 pearl with a 1gb internal memory card. i have like maybe 50pics on my internal device memory...

so 1 day i didnt have room on my laptop so i had to backup and max out my 1gig card with some video files from my laptop, so when i had room, i moved the files back to my laptop and deleted it offf my 1gig card..

after that, i cant seem to take anymore pix and save on my internal memory????? i even deleted about 15 pix and tried to save ONE picture and it tells me the internal device memory is full. this makes no sense to me..i took the batt out and put it back in after about 10minutes to see if that helps, but nope

What firmware are you running (Options->About, should say 4.2.0.XX)?

The reason why I ask is because there have been issues with older firmware causing memory leak issues, and this could be related. Normally, a battery pull will fix the problem, but in some cases, it could affect it like in your case.

The latest firmware is Cingular's .73, which addresses this issue; Roger's .69, and Cingular .71 also will work. All the details are in my signature on how to upgrade, update and such.
