I Want to Add MediaNet settings to my unlocked PDA, how?

ok I just purchased a prepaid simcard for my unlocked pocketpc phone, which runs windows mobile 6. Ofcourse I searched for Medianet settings and I got alot of hits but all the guides assume you already have a MediaNet entry under Modem connections. Well I do not as my phone is unbranded and has none of the cingular customizations. So what are the settings for MediaNet and/or PDA Connect Unlimited? i am starting from scratch.

assuming its the same as win mo 5
name : whaever you want
connection : cellular line (gprs)
apn : wap.cingular
usename : WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM
password : CINGULAR1
use server assigned IP
use IP header compression

this does it for the modem tab
if you have a proxy server option
the proxy address is wireless.cingular.com:80

can connect without the proxy, but will not be able to access MEdiaNet
MEdiaNet address : http://device.home/

Wirelessly posted (Cingular 8525: HTC-8500/1.2 Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.5; Windows CE; PPC; 240x320))

those are the settings for the wm 5 phone I assume they would be the same for wm6

whoa, thanks that worked FLAWLESSLY, you guys rock

I think I might go on a month to month plan with unlimited medianet. I can do that right?

also how do i find out if my phone is truly unlocked, as I suspect it is a cingular phone as when I boot window smobile 5 before upgrading it to wm6, it had the cingular boot up screen

I was SO hopeful these settings would work on an HTC s730, but they didn't. Indeed they're similar settings to everything I'm seeing across the Interenet, including detailed walkthroughs from AT&T's own support website such as this: https://cingular.atgnow.com/cng/tutorials/KB82467.html

Why are none of these settings working? Is there anything else the device needs besides just these settings (such as software, etc.)? Its NOT her account with AT&T because mediaNet was working fine before her old 2125 broke and we moved her SIM into the s730.

Can the s730 access MediaNet? If not, why not? I can't thank the person (or people) enough that can answers these questions! TIA!!!
