Hi,

I just got my HTC PRO s621 (dash, excalibur) from rogers and have a few questions i was hoping someone could please answer

1. I downloaded Facade and LOVE the functionality of the program but was wondering how i could get a pink design to go with my homescreen....i know i can change the wallpaper, but then the tabs of facade remain blue...if anyone has a theme/homescreen that uses facade and a pretty pink OR any other girly background

they could share, it would be much appreciated

2. how long should the battery last while surfing the web using wifi ?

3. Is it possible to save the directions from google map so i can download the directions using my wifi at home and still look at it while in the car without using Edge?

4. Is there a shortcut that allows me to switch between my inbox, sent box, draft , etc. when in text messages without going through the menu?

5. Is there a shortcut to get back to my inbox while composing a txt without having to use the menu to cancel the message?

6.Is it possible to get rid of the "E" icon that tells me edge is available?

7. can i get rid of the "Rogers" and replace it with my name?

8. the ringtones i have made (mp3) don't sound good...is there something i can do to fix this?

sorry, one last thing about the battery...

is it normal that after 9 hours WITHOUT talking on it, and having wifi, bluetooth and beam OFF, there is only 70% battery left (i charged 100% before I went to bed, woke up and saw there was a tick missing from the battery metre and checked the exact percent in settings)...

the battery seems off if you did nothing for the 9 hours. is email on? in 9 hours of doing nothing but only bt on, i get about a 3% drain. if you have push email or other power hungry apps, it's expected.

thanks for the response!

i use consilient push with my wifi (i called rogers to disable my gprs/edge), but when i turn off the wifi, consilient push says it's shutting down...plus when i check my task manager, no programs are running...so for the 9 hours last night i believe NOTHING was running....maybe i'll delete consilient push tonight to be sure it's not running and if the battery drains just as quick, i guess i'll have to exchange it

can anyone else please weigh in on the battery life they're getting from their dash/excalibur/s621???

last night it went from 95% to 63% in a span of 7 hours

... wifi and bluetooth were off...i downloaded consilient push and i'm not sure if it' running in the background but i doubt it because i disabled my gprs and edge (through rogers)....

Have you checked what IS running in the backround?

thanks for the idea...unfortunately, this won't run on my smartphone...does anyone have anything like this that will run on the excalibur/dash?

i'm willing to pay...so it doesn't have to be freeware!

i recommend you try one night with the consilient uninstalled and wifi off and bt off. if it does the same thing, it's probably a lemon. if the battery is much better, then you know what the culprit is.
