Hey yall. I have a tmobile pearl with BIS and I can't seem to open attachments. Ive tried to wipe the handheld and then restore from a backup, and I've tried deleting and resending service books. What happens is when I click on the
[1 attachment] in the email it doesnt give me the option to open it. Help!

I've had this problem a number of times. Try forwarding it to yourself to your handheld. If that doesn't work, try forwarding to your gmail/hotmail address, and then forwarding it to your handheld. The last step usually works for me.

check options > adavanced options > applications and make sure blackberry attachment service is there
if not need to run apploader

also, if you are on bis 1.8, it is possibly attachments are disabled on your bis account
and data support has to fix this

addtionally, if you have accidently installed redirector you could have an errorneous set of desktop services on the device thats causing the issue

or a migrated 1.8 > 2.0 bis and the webclient service is still there

the last 2 can be fixed by deleting the uneeded entries in your service book
