Newb question about BB messaging

I just got a BB for the first time and im getting accustomed to the interface. I had a quick question about the messaging. I set up two different email accounts, and i receive the email in each account just fine. The thing i have a question about is the actual icon for messaging. That folder or icon is getting all the messages, SMS and email. Is there a way i can make the messaging icon/folder just be for texts? Sorry if my terminology is wrong, and i hope my question is clear. Thanks in advance.

It depends on what theme you're using. I know that the zen theme seperates sms and emails. The basic themes that come with the blackberry puts them all in one folder. I'm sure someone will be along to elaborate a little further.

li2327 summed it up pretty well. You'll need to get the Zen theme if you want email/sms to be seperated.

The answer is no. There's no way to make Messages contain only SMS. It will receive all incoming messages unless you're using a theme that separates out SMS or if you're on a newer BB that allows you to choose to separate SMS. Still, neither of those will achieve the result you're looking for.
