I have a htc s621 with buit-in wifi and edge/gprs. I've configured both but when I download email, it looks like it's using the cellular connection rather than the wifi. Is there anyway to force the htc to use the wifi whenever it is connected rather than using the expensive cellular data connection?

If I turn off the cellular radio, it works but then i can't make/receive phone calls until I turn the radio back on.

You might try going into your email account settings and on the third set up page change from Network: Wap Network to The Internet.

Yes, unfortunately there's not really an easy way to switch over to wifi on these phones. It's really a shotty design if you ask me.

I know that if you are using BB Connect, the BB Connect will only work via GPRS, not by WiFi. Could that be the issue?
