If you have to ask, You probably cant afford it
Just kidding, I believe it could be ok with the pda connect plan, But I am not certain (on cingys website they only have the tether option for blackberry @75 per month)

The data connect plan is the correct one ($60 for unlimited use).

Dont mind paying b/c I will be using it, but im using slingbox mobile now - which much use a nice chunk of data - how do they know thats not tethered data?
