Hello,

I just got the 8525 and wanted to know if there is a way to add your own sound bits for notifictions. Specifically, I have a sound clip for incoming email and I have added it to the Windows Directory of the phone, but when I go to the notificaiton to set the sound that will play when I receive an email, my new sound clip is not listed.

Anyone know how to fix this or even if it is possible?

Two choices:

1. Get "Phone Alarm" www.pocketmax.net which allows you to assign any media file to alerts.

2. Convert the sound clip to .wav and place it in the WINDOWS directory of your device. It then should show up as an available file to assign to alerts.
