i finally got it, but i only found out after i win it that it was a HK version.does it matter? is it still made in japan/with the japanese keypad? and also the reason why i got it so cheap is because its semi broken..(edit)nvm i found it his sn was timsta from umobileco.

to the first reply, i didnt get the item yet. though i know it works, (turns on, shows logos) but it keeps reseting. so im pretty sure its just a bad flash, maybe he remote unlocked it or something

I would be in that "bunch" if ebay didn't go all retarded on me and freeze my 3 day old account that I haven't touched since creating it. Said I won a bid on an item from Korea that I have never even seen before. The resolution link led me to an error page as well. Next email notified me of PayPal locking up my account. I never even linked my bank account to PayPal yet.

it looks like a japanese version with a smartone vodafone back cover. chinese would have the stroke on the keys

yeah, i kinda noticed that after i went searching for SX833 pictures...the the front of the SX833 doesnt have the vodafone words, and the insides says smartone-vodafone instead of vodafone. and the keypads have the strokes on the bottom of the number, instead of the symbols next to the numbers. well at least i know now its not a HK made phone

lol sorry, when i mean HK i mean one of those super fake phone or stuffs, like the popstation. ...but really, did i make the right choice buying the phone? i am right when i say all it needs is a reflash and its up and working again right?

there is nothing wrong with the HK version of the 903SH. i personally think it looks better. the one you ordered on ebay is a jap version of the 903SH. it only has a hk version back battery cover. funny because it doesnt match the branding. you have a vodafone branding then you have a smartone vodafone one. lol.. hahaha... look at your keypad too... there is no green video call button. and the chinese fw isnt bad either. its very good!

Um.. mine doesn't have the green call button either, and has the power symbol thing below the hash (#) button. It is HK FW, with red Vodafone menu bars, as well as a Vodafone branded back battery cover. What the hell do I have?!

thing is 903 housings are hard to come by =( so u might not be able to find a battery cover for quite a while

Wow, awesome! I just realized that what my uncle uses is a red 903 from Japan...heh didn't know anything about Sharp phones until about two weeks ago, and now I have 3...-_-;;;

lol accually, i like the battery cover. didnt really like the plain vodafone on the backof the cover thats supposed to be on here. if you look really closely, youll see that the only scratch i have is on the battery cover. and the reason why i got the phone for so cheap, it has a bad flash. but its still a deal after spending $30 for a flashing cable with most of the software

ebay uk sells them the cheapest but they usually hate shipping oversea so its hard to convince the seller haha.
