Dash sound problem

Hey guys, I have a very very odd problem with my T mo branded Dash
Im using it with a rogers SIM card in Canada and i've had it for a couple months now and this problem is very recent and I can't think of any changes that would have caused it. Basically I can listen to music through the included headphones fine most of the time, but sometimes it doesnt only come through the headphones, it comes through the phone's speaker as well. I checked to see if it is inserted fully and it is. The sound usually goes back to fine after I power cycle it but its just a weird problem that makes me very self aware because i wouldnt want to be listening to music and have it coming through the phone speaker as well. Has this happened to anyone else? Am I alone with this conundrum?
Any help would be appreciated. Cheers

did you edit the phones software in anyway?

Maybe re-configuring your HandsFree profile will help.
