Hi!

I hope anybody can help me!

I'm looking for a new mobile called Sunreach (or Xphone ) P880 ( P860i ) in some forums it's called Samsung P860i.

Found some on ebay china but I would like to buy one in a shop in HK, China, Taiwan or USA.

Can you help me? Have you links where to buy? Here a link from a great german forum with photos:

Look carefully at the eBay China postings. Some of them are made by smaller retail shops that have a hard time gaining business in other ways so they see eBay as a place to put their products for sale. However, they may not be willing to ship outside China.

i've tried this phone during easter holiday when i'm travelling to china.

i would like to say this phone is relatively slow, and it only have OS in simplified chinese.

otherwise i will buy one already. it's about 1400RMB. which is about $180us.

if you can change it to english os, please let me know.

I am using Sunreach P880 in Hong Kong. This phone comes with Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese or English WM5 system at your choice when purchase. However, the phone is kinda unstable and I am still unable to enter into bootloader mode. This phone is basis on ARM920T S3C2440A processor.

For those want to purchase this phone in overseas (outside China, Hong Kong), please be adviced that the operating system is very unstable and may unable to boot up after reset (soft-reset or hard-reset) and it needed to be sent back to manufacturer or authorized repairer for re-flashing the system. I don't see anyone able to reflash the system except the manufacturer, therefore, it would be a problem if you purchase the phone and the it becomes dead when rebooting.

I have had this experience and had to send it back to manufacturer in Shenzhen from Hong Kong to reflash the system. It takes two working days for reflashing it, so I have to go to Shenzhen again two days later to collect the phone.

According to the 'About Me' on the phone from 'System', the operating system is Windows Mobile Version OS 5.1.1700 (Build 14343.0.0.0), I think that there is no AKU installed and this is the basic WM5 operating system.

What else? If you want to know this phone more or even really want to purchase this phone, let me know and see if I can answer/arrange for you from Hong Kong. My email is just4me_tony@hotmail.com

I have some screen shot taken by SKTools showing the system info of P880. However, the size is too large so I can't upload here.

Finally. I hope if someone know how to reflash this phone can release the program for reflash the system to public.

Yeah! After I replied your question yesterday. The phone couldn't start up again right after phone call, I tried to hard reset the phone but still unable to get into WM5 but stop loading at the beginning. Therefoer, I went to China (I live in Hong Kong) today and request manufacturer to upload (or flash whatever) the operating system again.

Forturnately, it only takes an hour to go to Shenzhen but I need to leave Hong Kong and go to China by travel document. It's just time consuming and this is my second time return the phone to manufacturer for maintain.
