unlocked treo 650 -problem sending mms

hey everyone. i hope some of you will be able to help me out with this one.
yesterday, i installed mini opera and ibm java to my Unlocked 650 cingular on rogers. today, i tried to send a MMS and it does not go through (sstatus stays at 0%).then, the phone tries to connect to the network -
i never had this problem of sending an mms before.
is this someting i have to call rogers about? 
the notice 'trying to sign on ' did not use to pop up when i sent mms messages in the past..
any help would be great.
