Skype on 8525 Help?

Hi guys.
Installed Skype on my 8525. I connected to 3G network. When i tried to sign in, it says that i dont have wifi, and asked if i would allow skype to use other connection, i clicked yes, but it still didnt work. Anybody know how this thing works?

In skype its Menu/Settings

then scroll down and under Connection and change it to

'Use WiFi and 3G'

I have the AT&T 8525 and installed Skype to the phone. However I don't any menu/settings . It only has sign-in and quit but no menu to change. Do I need a certain version of Skype mobile?

when i try to call another skyper, it crashes. i'm using the version for 8125 as i couldn't find the 8525 specific one. any help with this problem please

Your going to need a older version for it to work on the 8525.
