RAZR V3T Autocleanup NOT WORKING spread the word

I AM PISSED ... i have a v3t and since day one the auto cleanup on messages hasnt worked ... so about a week ago i called tmobile to get them to fix it, they couldnt sent the first warranty exchange, same prob, did a second exchange, didnt work, offered a nokia 6103 alternate exchange, i declined cause its got no features, so they sent another v3t ... guess what STILL NOT WORKING!!! ... they claim that they cant find anyone else with these issues ... and i really highly truly doubt that i get 4 v3t's with that cleanup not working ... does anyone else have this problem with their v3t ... did anyone else even try setting up the auto cleanup ...

just go to messages and then hit menu set your auto cleanup for however many messages and see if it works ... if it doesnt call tmobile tell them it doesnt work ... i KNOW im not the only person with non working razors

think i shouldnt worry about it? i send between 5-7 thousand messages a month yes im a text-a-holic, i dont wanna sit their erasin every so often ...

I just got my v3t in the mail today. I will have to see weather mine does the same thing. I sorta had that problem with my v3. i set it to auto erase messages to keep only 15 in there at one time since my phone could only hold 30 messages at any one time. I noticed if I texted a lot at once, it wouldn't clean them out. It was like it only checks every few hours to see if there are more than 15 messages in your inbox. Couldn't tell you if the v3t is the same way though.

it does work, just motorola doesnt do the "auto" part right away, it will do them after a while, trust me, your phone is not defective, your just causing a lot of excess refurbs to be circulated in the pool at t-mobil

open mouth insert foot ... good lookin paolo, blzrd i called back tmobile n the customer service rep used her v3t to see if it worked... it didnt but i guess like paolo said itll eventually cleanup

...mine works cuz I thought it was randomly deleting my messeages and may be defective then I saw auto cleanup was on for 5 days.
