Hey guys,

I'm very new to the flashing thing with W810.

I'm on rogers canada, trying to flash it so i can view/type chinese on the phone..also trying to install the camera/acoustic drivers too..

I'm not sure how i install the chinese into the phone?

Do i still choose AMERICAS for the MAIN? and use the HK file as FS?

I don't get the difference between the 2 and also what is CUSTOM PACKS?

Hi. To install Chinese, you'll want a HK MAIN/FS/Custom pack. You need all of those three parts for the firmware. You could also install a lang. pack, but I'm not sure how you would go about it...

in my opinion, adding language pack seems far more complicated than flashing a Chinese firmware, I flashed it in like 10 minutes, including acoustics and those other uploading too....

and as ikjadoon stated, use Hong Kong FS, MAIN and custpack, if you don't have the custpack, PM me, I can upload mine for you, and as for the firmware, try topsony.com

simply pay $9 and use wotan to flash to Hong Kong or China version (depends on you use Trad or Simp Chinese)

but if you have a brain, the free way is fine too. I added a lot of Euro languages to my phone.
