I bought them awhile back for use with my blackjack. I don't know if it's the headset or the phone but it doesn't always connect and I have to reboot either it and/or my phone. It also will at times completely drop connection and has to be rebooted.
I don't use it to 'talk' but rather when I go jogging with the phone in my pocket so it's never more than 3ish feet away from the phone. It works almost without issues as far as the sound is concerned but I do get static sometimes. Also, when you turn it off it resets the volume so you have to turn it back up every time you use it. The sound is acceptable at what I would say is FM radio quality.

Mine works fine and doesn't drop the connection.

The biggest issue I have is that the bj (or the headset) has a very limited range and if the headset does not have direct line of site it will cut in and out. Even if I put the phone in my pocket it will cut in and out unless I switch it to the other pocket. Other than that its decent, fast control, good volume.

If you are an audiophile though, you wont like it. When working aroung the house or working out its perfect.
