How to use internet on Cingular (HTC) 2125?

When you use Internet Explorer on the phone and want to connect via my home wireless internet, do you just have to click on Menu, then Tools (9), then Options (3), then connections, and select "The Internet" once you are already in Internet Explorer?
Want to avoid my phone using media net behind my back and getting charged for it because the phone doesn't show you how it's connected.

If you have a bluetooth dongle you can use bluetooth DUN to connect through your network.
