What is in the CD-ROM for 902/903?

This soudns liek a dumb question but please keep the insults to yourself. lol. Anyways just recently purchased a Sharp 902 but all that came with mine was the charger. I am just curious what is actually in the CD-ROM and if it is really necessary to have? Thanks

The CD-ROM contains the software to synchronise the phone's contacts/calendar data with the PC. It can be downloaded from Sharp's website anyway.
