Sarmad's 4.7 driver - based on W810 stock 4.5 driver

Many W810 phones just don't seem to like the other excellent drivers (pics come out blurry, etc).. if that happens to you, then this is the driver for you! This driver is Made just for the W810.

INCLUDES:

- Increased sharpness
- Enhanced Nightmode (only on if you switch on Macro mode, otherwise its regular nightmode)
- 3 VideoRecording modes (Regular 15fps, Nightmode 10fps, ENM 5fps)
- AutoExposure Lock from Chengrong
- Original 4x zoom
- Color correction from Kopritis
- fixed LED white balance

The ENM (enhanced night mode) is from Chengrong's driver for amazing nightshots, but it is only activated if you also switch on Macro mode.. this way, you can choose to just have regular nightmode (since ENM needs the phone to be VERY still)

The color correction restores true colors to the picture and your pictures will look much better.

ok I tried the sarmad's (spelling???) and it took GREAT night mode pics but daytime seemed to always over expose????

So I tried installing kiromags 21.8 and it has been WONDERFULL so far takes "Descent" night mode, but the "super manual focus" is neat and the quality in daylight is the best iv seen so far...

daylight w/ maulal focus

daylight / shadow w manual focus

Daylight manual focus (it is kinda hard to do with a glair on the screen)

Daylight macro mode w/ auto focus

I found the best tutorial was DA G ' s for debranded featues without debranding. Found here

If you have an unbranded phone just use the MAIN firmware that you curently have on your phone (newest for the 810i is R4EA031 can be found by searching on google

) vs the cingular MAIN included in the ZIP/RAR in DA G's Method. Read the read me in his post it oulines where to put the files and the ZIP includes some good files/programs...

You are correct there are ALOT of threads about this and they are getting HUGE! I also find it dificult to find things some times

(there are more boards out there but this is my fav so far.. DA G has been great about supporting people with there mods

I downloaded DA G's readme and I just don't get it. Do I need to flash my factory unlocked w810 in order to access its file using XS?

you don't HAVE to "brand it" but the whole process involves flashing the phone a few times thats what XS does. FAR is a file manager (to browse the FS on the phone). If all you want to do is put camera driver on then just flash (with XS) the breakin loader .ssw thingie then use far to transfer the files then flash the firmware that your phone had originally (make sure and use the same one - if you a different one it may have bad effects).

The FS files are different than the MAIN flash files.

Do you know what MAIN firmware you have?
I think the newest (final) is R4EA031

Post some pics with your modded cam drivers...

These were with SARMAD's cam drivers in total darkness - His driver works verry will in darkness and just holding the camera in my hand after a few beers..

Would be nice if sarmad himself would post a few examples??

I just got the phone recently and have been updating it via SE-US, so I'm pretty sure I have the R4EA031 firmware. My problem is finding the firmware in the .ssw format so I can flash my phone to it afterwards.

Any chance you can explain how to do this exactly?:

you should give my new one a try.. sarmad 4.81 .. i think its the best one for the W810, lots of folks have liked it and gotten good results. its my newest one, even tho i went backwards on the numbering. hehe.. 4.81 is the latest.

the big difference here is MORE SHARPNESS and better Focus

based on my 4.8.. which is based on W810 stock 4.5
Macro mode turns on Enhanced Mode (great for low light conditions)
Macro + night is Enhanced Night mode (long exposure for no noise night shots)
Real-Life Color correction when FINE quality is chosen
Good Focus, Increased Sharpness and Contrast
Auto Exposure Lock
Automatic Optimal JPEG Compression
Video Recording enhancements
LED white balance set to Flourescent

Nice, I'll have to try it out when I get home. I just hate having to master reset the settings and configure them all again. Oh well, at least my cam will take better pics

A master reset is not required to change camera drivers. Just upload camdriver0.dat to /ifs/settings/camera and you're done

Hmm, i'm not sure? Never run into that.

The camera driver in my packs is chengrong 8.53.

I was using chengrong 8.54, just uploaded the kriomag one last night. Haven't used it yet.

My only suggestion is to try another one?
