I have agreed to sell my 903sh, but b4 I ship it I want to erase all my photos and phone book, etc, but I dont want to have to erase each file one by one.

Is there some sort of "erase all" type function?

Thanks

I don't know about 903sh...but for 703 series, you just do a master reset. I think it's the same for 903sh from what I have heard on HoFo. Some people have reported problems such as not able to turn on the phone after the master reset...so proceed carefully. I believe the default handset code for Sharp phones is 9999.

I can confirm that you can simply do a master reset on the 903sh. Well, unless it's using test mode unlock.

Yes, normally a master reset will wipe the phone completely, but if it's been flashed in a bad way or using the test mode unlock a master reset can kill the phone completely. If not it should be ok for you to use.

ok, thanks.

is there a way to do it without the USIM card in it?

holding down a button or something??

Normally no, but some firmwares allow you to do what's called a 'hard reset' by holding down the hash (#) button while pushing the power button to turn it on.

A master reset should be fine unless you're using the test mode unlock. A master reset on that would lock stuff up.

Its just the original using it in Japan with Softbank mode.

so...?
