Can anyone explain the on-board gps capabilities of the PN-820. I read that it isn't a true gps , capable of sharing location data with third party applicaitons, like google maps. If that is the case, then I assume a bluetooth gps receiver would be the way to go that connects to the PN-820 which would link to google maps or other program. We do alot of motorcycle riding and it would be handy , at times, to pull off the side of the road and figure out just how lost we are. No Way I am asking directions! I pay for the Verizon data plan so that isn't a concern. Thanks.

So far I have no been able to see any way to activate any GPS service built in the phone. I have used my bluetooth with no problem. I haven't had a need for GPS nav lately but was able to connect and use various GPS programs. IF memory serves, Google would not work with the GPS reciever. They need some more support. Or was it Livesearch? I can't remember now. There was a thread I started about GPS, I'll have to look back and see. Long and short of it, interal is no go, Bluetooth is no problem.
