Hello,
Hopefully someone can help me with this. I have an unbranded Motorola T725 and I can't edit or access my phone number in the "My Tel. Numbers" menu. When I go there the edit/change option does not appear, so I am unable to edit the number on the phone. Can someone please inform me how I can enable this feature on this phone? Looks like a seem edit will be necessary, so I need to know exactly where to edit it when I get into the phone. Any help is appreciated

carrier: Cingular (orange)
Phone: unbranded Moto T725
Unlocked: yes

I have yet to find out what seem edit enables this. I've seen some generic unbranded flexes have it enabled, while carrier specific flexes have it disabled. So that means there is a setting to enable/hide it but no one figured out which seem its contained in yet.

I figured it out. It's SEEM 0032_0001 Offset 28 to enable My Tel. Number editing.

which bit to check off? 0,1,2,3,4 or 7? (it cant be 5 or 6 because their listed in xlr8's seem map with other functions.

it is bit 5 and bit 6, and changing these worked on my phone (T725e). The SEEM map says "phonebook", but in my opinion it should read "My Tel. Number".

Try it on your phone, making sure to back-up first, and see if it works on yours. As long as you make a back-up first, you can always switch it back if it doesnt work.
