When I go to my contacts/phonebook on any and every other phone I have ever used (I've had MANY), and hit a particular letter key on the keypad, every contact beginning with that particular letter is displayed. I simply scroll down to the one I want, and dial. No muss & no fuss!! BUT...on the Blackjack, when I do the same thing, every contact with that particular letter anywhere in the name of the person or business name is displayed. I then have to scroll down the long list to finally get to the person/business I want. It's bogus!! It is especially a hassle to do while driving. Is there any way to adjust that so it behaves like every other phone in the world? Please help me with this. It is a gigantic point of frustration to me!! ![]() |

I have heard the arguement that it is for finding a contact when you don't know how to spell the person or businesses name. That's pretty lame. I have over 300 contacts at the present, and never have a problem remembering how their names are spelled. I see it, not as a "great feature", but more of a waste of time and energy. Oh well...if it can't be changed, so be it. |
