hey guys i've read posts here and there about this topic and have tried to do it myself but get stuck at a certain point all the time. i have a v3 razr and my carrier is telus. i want to unlock to ringtone problem. i know i have to delete those two files. i am using bit pim 9.05-official (something like that) i get the bitpim to recognize my phone, i go into the filesystem and locate the file i want to delete and when i go to delete and new window pops up saying. ' exception' and all this crap goes on but couple of lines from the top it says ' BitPim is in safe mode - this operation has been blocked' .......i have been stuck here for about 3 weeks now i've looked around and haven't found a solution to this problem.
if someone could basically step by step tell me how to solve this problem:
