SLVR help

i just received a SLVR from one of my friends. I managed to fix his phone, so he gave me his old 1. I believe that the only problem with it is the main board(i think thats what its called). When i replaced a different battery into the phone it lit up, but didnt turn on. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. The phone got wet, but seems to be workable. I'd like to know if possibly there was also a place or someone I can buy the part or broken phone to replace the part. Thnx.
