First of all, sorry if i ask any stupid questions.

the problem is~
I'm unable to send nor recieve sms.

and what does this mean?
is it a hardware issue or etc~?
is it possible to solve it?

Switch to GSM and try sending again.

I have this problem whenever M1 screws around with their 3G network

Check your SMS message centre - I doubt it has anything to do with switching to GSM.

i've tried changing to GSM and there seems to be no problem with the SMS message center.

I called starhub and they said it might be possible that the sms has been locked.
The same sign is there when theres no simcard as well.

That icon means you have unsent messages sitting in your outbox. If you delete them all that icon will go away.

oh tks for telling.

the SMS message center number is correct +6598540020.

i tried sending alot of messages to my friend's phone to test and only 1 went through. after that none got through anymore.
what does it mean?

i cant delete messages either. it keeps saying "Deleting 0 Messages Completed"

since ur phone says insert simcard....could your phone be locked?
and therefore cannot detect ur sim card?
if u tried everything and it doesn work u can always flash it

No, if you put the wrong SIM card in a 903 when it's locked to a different carrier, it says 'SIM MEP'. In this case it just doesn't have a card in it at all.

this might help... try saving contacts calendar entries first to your memory card... (back them up) then move saved pictures or whatever in your multimedia folder to the memory card, take off the memory card and do a master reset... hope that would solve your problem

the second pic was taken with the sim taken out.

im able to make calls but unable to send nor recieve sms

Doing a master reset would freezes the phone.

you mean you can send and recv txt msgs when u change to GSM?

have u tried changing ur sim card? have u tried ur sim card to one of your friends' phone?

i cant send nor recieve sms wether its set to GSM or 3G network.

and yes. i've tried different sim cards.and they worked fine on other phones.

when and where did u buy it?
did u use it just now?
or you have used it before with no problems?
have u tried asking for a different sms center from your service provider?
have u tried reflashing it?
or starhub could be right your sms has been locked.
