KRZR K1m / Using the S9 Bluetooth headphones

I have a Verizon KRZR K1m - It's still running the VZW operating system (which is another issue).

I just bought the Motorola S9 bluetooth stereo headphones.

The bluetooth connects to the phone, and can be used for making/sending calls, but the MP3 player will not send the music to the headphones. It plays through the speaker on the phone. So, it's connected to the phone for standard phone features, but the music doesn't go where it should.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Those headfones are really pricey. I want them but gonna wait til the price drops.

The CDMA Krzr K1M's (Verizon and Alltel) do NOT support Bluetooth A2DP profile which is what BT Stereo Headphones use.

So no music via BT.

I figured that out later on after I posted the original message.... Hence, I have since taken my KRZR K1m back to Verizon and changed it in for the LG VX8600.

K1m sucks. Verizon sucks...

What was surprizing was that nobody at the VZW store knew anything about A2DP.

I'm a new Hacker. I think I learned more about phones yesterday surfing the net than most of the people working in the store know.

I really like my LG though... only thing is, it doesn't have a USB connection... Why can't somebody make a phone that just has everything!!!!!

Next up.... need to learn how to hack the LG.
