Dash ActiveSync Problem...

Im running windows vista on my comp so i downloaded the vista version of active sync which is windows mobile device center but the computer still cant recognize the dash. I tried to see if it was my personal firewall blocking it so i configured my firewall and still nothign. I even turned off the firewall nothing. I uninstalled the driver on the comp and reinstalled plenty of times and still nothing what should i do

I'm having the same problem, but with the WM6 beta. I got the WM5 working quite easily, I just had to make sure I had the right device configured.

Did you try and change the USB to PC settings? Un select the Enable advanced network functionality. This solved it for me.

Go to settings, connections, USB to PC and youll see what I am talking about.

Good Find this solution worked for me as well. Just to clarify the settings he is referring to are on the Dash Itself.

i am using WM5 on vista and sometimes not always it would give me a sync error but i can still go into the file explore and the application installs does anyone know what is going on?
