i95cl Limited Edition Question

Is the i95cl Limited Edition (the one at Bloomingdales) come in the clear housing or the frosted housing? Is it cheaper to buy the Limited Edition or buy the regular i95cl and mod it? I want a super clear OEM housing i95cl but was unsure of the best way to get.

The i95 LEs sold at Bloomingdales don't come with a clear or a frosted housing. The housing is clear with a white background. It's kind of hard to describe but the phone is clear with some areas that are covered in white. You can sort of see what I'm talking about in the picture below. Look at the white in the flip.

As far as pricing goes, the LE is $499 plus tax. A new i95 can be got for as little as $99 (with a new activation) plus another $125 for the OEM super clear housing including installation. It really is going to depend in whether you are activating a new account or not. If you are, it will be cheaper to buy a regular i95 and have the guts put into a super clear case. If you are not starting a new account you will be better off just buying the LE from Bloomingdales.

Good advice greenberg, but the warranty that comes with the i95le makes the cost different worthwile

Great help on that guys. I don't have an account yet, so I will get the basic i95cl and then mod it. Who or where is the best place to get the OEM super clear housing at?

The only place I know of which has the OEM super clear housing is Hyper Wireless in NYC. www.hyperwireless.com

You can send your phone to them and they'll mod it up for you and then ship it back.

The LE's keypad flashes when the phone rings, but you can change your codeplug on a regular i95 to do the same thing.
