I don't see why it should be a problem; although having 2 different file systems might require the computer to act as an intermediary. Perhaps if they were both the same phones (for example, a friend and yours) using 2 different data cables, it might work.

I went into the service menu and played around but no luck Anyone have any idea what to do now? I used LG Download, the VX4500DLL, and the T45vzv04BIN FILE. It ran successfully but now the phone doesn't work. I also noticed that it said "Eri version-NONE and PRL version- NONE" in the S/W version section of the handset. I can't find any new info on this ancient phone and that is why I am posting this here!!! Someone please assist me!!! Thanks, Devils. ![]() |

BitPim seems to see the USB "modem"/phone when I plug the VX8000 into the Mac, but looking at the logs, it tries in vain to draw any info from it. From what I understand Mac OS doesn't need phone drivers like in Windows, and I don't see anyway to manipulate the fake COM port like I would in BitPim's older versions in Windows. I'm using BitPim 1.0.5. Anyone able to read their VX8000 in Mac OS X? |
